NFL Playoff Bracket Maker - 14-Team Format
Build an NFL playoff bracket using the current 14-team format: 7 teams per conference, a Wild Card round, a Divisional round, a Conference Championship, and the Super Bowl. The No. 1 seed in each conference gets a first-round bye.
NFL Playoff Structure
14 Teams Across 4 Rounds
- -14 teams qualify: 4 division winners + 3 wild cards per conference
- -Top seed in each conference receives a first-round bye
- -Wild Card round: 6 games (Seed 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5 in each conference)
- -Divisional round: 4 games (top seed enters; 4 highest remaining seeds advance)
- -Conference Championship: 2 games (AFC and NFC)
- -Super Bowl: 1 game (neutral site)

Reseeding Each Round
The NFL reseeds the bracket each round. In the Divisional round, the top remaining seed in each conference plays the lowest remaining seed. In the AFC, if the No. 1 seed advances (which is automatic, since they had a bye), they face the lowest-seeded Wild Card winner. The No. 2 seed (who played in the Wild Card round) faces the higher-seeded Wild Card winner.
This is different from the NCAA approach where the bracket is locked at the start. Reseeding rewards higher seeds by giving them the weakest remaining opponent at each step. This generator does not reseed automatically; for a true reseeding bracket, enter your teams round by round.

Survivor Pool Variant
In a survivor pool, each participant picks one team per week to win their playoff game. A correct pick stays alive; a wrong pick is eliminated. No team can be picked twice. The last participant standing wins. Most survivor pools start Wild Card weekend, which gives roughly 4 to 6 weeks of survival before the Super Bowl.
