Round Robin Generator - Schedule + Live Standings Table
Generate a complete round robin schedule. Every team faces every other team once. Live standings update as you enter scores. Best for small-to-medium fields where every result should count.
Round robin, in short: every team plays every other team once, so a field of N teams plays N(N-1)/2 matches total - 6 matches for 4 teams, 15 for 6, 28 for 8. It runs N-1 rounds when N is even, or N rounds when N is odd (one team byes each round). No eliminations; final placing is by total points. Standard 6-Team Round Robin Schedule
A 6-team round robin runs 5 rounds of 3 matches (15 matches total), generated with the circle method: fix one team and rotate the rest so every pair meets exactly once and no team plays twice in a round.
| Round | Matches (team numbers) | ||
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 v 6 | 2 v 5 | 3 v 4 |
| 2 | 1 v 5 | 6 v 4 | 2 v 3 |
| 3 | 1 v 4 | 5 v 3 | 6 v 2 |
| 4 | 1 v 3 | 4 v 2 | 5 v 6 |
| 5 | 1 v 2 | 3 v 6 | 4 v 5 |
Every team plays all 5 others exactly once. For an odd field, add a phantom "bye" entry and the team drawn against it sits that round out. Enter your own team names below for a schedule of any size from 3 to 128.
Standard 8-Team Round Robin Schedule
An 8-team round robin runs 7 rounds of 4 matches (28 matches total). Because 8 is even, no team ever sits out. The circle method below fixes team 1 and rotates the rest, so every pair meets exactly once.
| Round | Matches (team numbers) | |||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 v 8 | 2 v 7 | 3 v 6 | 4 v 5 |
| 2 | 1 v 7 | 6 v 8 | 2 v 5 | 3 v 4 |
| 3 | 1 v 6 | 5 v 7 | 4 v 8 | 2 v 3 |
| 4 | 1 v 5 | 4 v 6 | 3 v 7 | 2 v 8 |
| 5 | 1 v 4 | 3 v 5 | 2 v 6 | 7 v 8 |
| 6 | 1 v 3 | 2 v 4 | 5 v 8 | 6 v 7 |
| 7 | 1 v 2 | 3 v 8 | 4 v 7 | 5 v 6 |
Each of the 8 teams plays all 7 others exactly once across the 7 rounds. Swap in your own team names below and the generator produces the same balanced schedule for any size from 3 to 128, plus a live standings table.
